6.8.07 BRAD ST. LOUIS FOOTBALL CAMP WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

WEST CHESTER, OH
— More than 150 youth from the Cincinnati area had the opportunity to join Bengal player Brad St. Louis and other Bengal players for a football clinic at Hopewell Jr. in West Chester Ohio.

This clinic provided youth the opportunity to work on their football skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork skills, while building self-esteem both on and off the field. Each participant received a T-shirt and excellent instructions from Brad and some of his NFL friends.

12.20.06  CINCINNATI WOMAN’S MAGAZINE (December 2006 Issue, Front Cover)

BEYOND THE GRIDIRON , by Katie Hall.

CINCINNATI - Cincinnati Bengals player Brad St. Louis ( www.BradStLouis.com ), is featured on the front cover with wife Michelle, and two sons Lance and Kellen.  The article features tidbits regarding the challenges of being a mobile family, as the result of Brad’s profession in the NFL.

Excerpts from BEYOND THE GLORY article… During the football season, Brad often works seven days a week. Michelle notes that this can present some childcare challenges. “If I am sick, Brad can’t just take a day off work.” The support network she has built in the area is critical for helping her deal with these types of unexpected situations. During the offseason, Brad’s time is not as booked until he begins training camp in August in Georgetown , Kentucky . Despite the unique challenges presented by building a family around a professional football career, Michelle keeps a very healthy perspective. “I can’t complain.  There are women raising children alone because their husbands are in Iraq . I know what I go through is nothing in comparison.”

Feeling an obligation to pay back the community, Brad St. Louis is beginning a foundation ( www.bradstlouis.com ). Brad and Michelle are still trying to decide the exact focus of the foundation, but Michelle believes, “It will definitely revolve around kids.”  Describing Brad as a “health food fanatic,” Michelle says that one option they are considering is focusing their efforts on “fighting childhood obesity.”

Additionally, they both believe that the good works of Brad, Kevin Kaesviharn   and their teammates deserve more attention. “So many of them work really hard,” Michelle St. Louis says, “both on the field and outside of football.”
